Luca Piccoli

University of Trento

Luca Piccoli is Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento. His research focuses on the analysis of family choices (distribution of domestic and care work, intra-household distribution of resources, decisions concerning children) and the social consequences that derive from them (female poverty, children’s human capital accumulation), on the evaluation of public policies (with particular attention to their impacts on poverty and inequality), on the analysis of addictive consumption and inter-temporal preferences (rational addiction and time inconsistency), and on the analysis of risky behaviors(both determinants and consequences).

Lucia Mangiavacchi

University of Perugia

Lucia Mangiavacchi is an Associate Professor of Political Economics at the Department of Political Science of the University of Perugia. Her research focuses mainly on the analysis of children and youth’s wellbeing and, in particular, on the impact of parental choices and public policies. She also worked on analyzing gender inequality within the family context and the relationship between women’s participation in the labour market, household chores and child-rearing.

Giulia Gambardella

University of Trento

Giulia Gambardella is a post-graduate student in the Master’s course of Sociology and Social Research at the University of Trento. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her research interests focuses on the quantitative analysis of the cultural cognitive topics in social research. She is particularly fascinated with laboratory and field experiments in behavioral economics, social network analysis and sentiment analysis on digital social data.
